Windsor Bergen Academy

WINDSOR BERGEN ACADEMY (Grades Pre-K through 8) is a state-approved, nonprofit, private school located in Ridgewood NJ, for classified students who exhibit learning, behavioral and attention disorders. In addition, many of our students are diagnosed with anxiety, depression and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Clinical Services play an integral role in the emotional growth of our students by helping them gain control over impulsive behaviors and develop positive strategies for coping with frustrating and difficult situations. Counseling services are offered in individual, small or large group settings tailored to meet the social, emotional and behavioral needs of each student as defined in their IEP.

Students are referred to Windsor Bergen Academy by their district child study team. Windsor Bergen Academy admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admission policies, educational policies, scholarships, and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.Students are referred to Windsor Bergen Academy by their district case managers.

Each student at Windsor Bergen Academy receives an extensive and comprehensive education based on his/her Individualized Education Program (IEP) in accordance with NJ Administrative Code 6A:14. Our curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, as well as each student's individual learning path.
