Wow, where do I start ! I feel so bad giving this school a poor review but this has been weighing in on me for years. I've had my daughter in the lower school since 2016. My Ex-Husband, My daughter's father works in the design and marketing department. The school allowed my Ex-husband to use his Postion as a platform to harass me for as far back as my daughter's enrollment. Each parent logs into a parent portal to track thier child's progress and I was repeatedly locked out of my parent portal from 2016-2019. My name was removed twice from the aftercare release form and replaced

Great school. Cannot ask for better. Our twins have been there for 7 years now, and they love it. We made great friends with families. Diverse community and very inclusive to all. Teachers are great and they stimulate children a lot. I cannot talk higher enough. Highly recommend!

This is the best school ever. There are so many amazing opportunities and welcoming people. This school is not on the list for failure. The teachers here are extremely helpful and make time for their students even when they're busy. DE has opened my eyes to so many more things in life. After only being here for a month, I already know that I've made the right choice. Less importantly, ... If you were wondering, YES the lunch is AWESOME!

Not a good fit for my 6th grader - read why
Below is a description of the most significant issues my family experienced with DE.
1) Homework - both quantity and policies
Homework was assigned every night including weekends, sometimes in all subjects. They claimed it should take 1-2 hours. My child often could not complete the work in that timeframe. Furthermore, that amount of homework, even if completing were not an issue, left him with maybe 2 hours of free time in any given day - long school day, long bus ride were contributing factors. Can you imagine the backlash if we treated our employees

I love their way of thinking including the idea that all the subjects are connected. Like combining biology and chemistry to get biochemistry. 5 stars to my future school.
