This past summer, Brass Band Director Sam Nestor's music took him on a new adventure: to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, where he was the artist-in-residence in a position made possible by the National Parks Art Foundation, which offers month-long fellowships to select artists. Ms. Powell-Caldwell brings with her a wealth of experience from her 17 years as a classroom teacher, senior administrator, and DEI practitioner in independent schools.
Welcome to the fourth installment in our Faculty Chats series.
