Pacific Academy

I am very proud to share with you that Pacific Academy is recently ranked by Niche as the Top 3 best K-12 private school and Top 8 private high school in their "2021 Best Private Schools in OC" annual report. Pacific Academy is also ranked 35 among all private schools in California. Pacific Academy Irvine campus was established in 2011 with only 18 students, majority of whom were international students.

Pacific Academy, established in 1997, is a private preparatory school for grades 7-12 located just off Interstate 5 in Encinitas, a small coastal community in northern San Diego County, and off Interstate 5 in Irvine, an affluent suburban city in Orange County. The Pacific Academy curriculum is driven by a focus on creativity, cross-disciplinary studies, new course offerings, school events, and student led activities.

WASC Accreditation is a significant milestone that acknowledges rigorous college preparatory curriculum, excellence in teaching, a motivated and diverse student population and a wonderful learning environment. WASC accreditation also certifies that a school is successfully accomplishing its mission through rigorous standards of planning, ogranization, curriculum and assessment.

Our Orange County campus is situated in sunny Irvine, an increasingly popular destination that has been ranked America's #1 safest city for 10 ongoing years in a row. Just an hour's drive from the hip urban scene of LA or the serene seascapes of San Diego, Irvine lives up to its reputation with its rich culture and abundant array of activities, and our campus is right in the center of it all.

That is the adjective of choice that many of our students and teachers hear me chirp about during the course of the year, or even on any given day! It refers to being thoughtfully immersed in one's academics, involved in the life of the school, and making the most of life in general.

Being engaged also means developing friendships, connecting with teachers, helping others, trying a new club or sport, leading an activity, visiting a museum, or enjoying the beach.Connecting with those around us, developing our ideas, and sharing our talents are all part of being a small school.
