In fact, as you can see here, we've written software to handle the job of political database management, which has been our specialty since the first Bush administration. There's no challenge or deadline we haven't already met. Although our Filpac system includes lots of do-it-yourself tools for complex searching and precise mail-merging, time and staff constraints in your organization could mean it's easier to just leave it up to the experts.

Over the past few years we've averaged about 70 updates posted to our website during the year. 12, 2017 Primary and secondary addresses are now displayed in tabs. This change was made to make room for two email addresses on the main entry screen, where we display as much as possible to help speed data entry.

We import the DCF files from FECFile into the Filpac system. The only reason to keep FECFile on your computer is for amending old reports. And unless the DCF database includes lots of complex transactions (memos, earmarks and the like), the old system can be discarded altogether once the numbers are verified.
