Chartered in 1952, Faith Credit Union was initially organized to meet the financial needs of members of Cleveland's Second Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Since then the credit union, which is a not-for-profit and tax-exempt entity under the Internal Revenue Code, has expanded community-wide and now provides a full range of credit, savings, transaction services, and financial education.
Today Faith Community United Credit Union is one of the state's largest minority owned credit unions in Northeast Ohio. Mission - Faith Community United Credit Union exists for the financial benefit of the membership and the community at large. As a Community Development Credit Union, we advocate revitalization, education, community development and the rekindling of community pride and volunteerism.
