I've been a member of Sean's clay corner on and off for the last 3 years (usually "off" when work gets crazy). I first joined as a way to meet people since I was new to Seattle, and ended up loving the community and space. I met a lot of great people but also love the business concept of open studio space which worked really well for my chaotic schedule. I always feel like Sean is open to questions/guidance and is really supportive of the work that comes out of the members there by occasionally hosting studio open houses or just overall providing helpful feedback. I'm having a total blast learning at Sean's Clay Corner. Sean is hands-on, very detailed, and supportive. He's built a great studio and a tight-knit community where folks from all backgrounds and experience levels feel comfortable. Class times are frequent and flexible, and very informative. I feel like I found a special corner of Seattle - I would highly recommend!

Wonderful place. It really offers everything. I can't recommend enough for beginners. I think you'd have a hard time finding another studio that comes close in regards to hands-on instruction and guidance.
I'm a huge fan of the membership format as well. You can work at your own pace, show up when you want, decide what classes interest you, and generally just hang out and work around cool people. The studio itself has everything you need. It's also very low-key with a great group of people who are eager to answer questions if you have any.

Sean's Clay Corner is a studio designed around clay people - both beginners and experts. It's a unique studio setup in that it allows you, as a member, to just come a do your thing in clay - pretty much whenever you want! The studio is well-organized, with everything you need. And also offers classes and other special outings and social get-togethers that you can just sign up for. Everyone who comes here is super cool, and it's just a great space and community to work and create in - all thanks to the great person who set it up - Sean himself! Thanks Sean!!! I'm loving it here

Sean's Clay Corner is just right for me. As a seasoned potter, I was looking for a beautiful, calm, productive studio and found it. Yea!!
Sean has been very kind to me as a newcomer and made a studio where other students are kind, friendly and on a quest for better pottery. Although I am new to the studio, after several visits, I feel at home and welcomed. Thanks Sean.

Sean is such a calm, funny, and kind teacher; exactly what you need when you are just starting out with wheel thrown pottery. We originally found Sean when we were searching for a fun experience to give to our Seattle family for Christmas. Sean helped us put together a 6 person private class that was perfect. So perfect actually, that I found myself back in the studio with my own parents when they came in from out of town just a week later!
