Pottery Classes

Structured 8-week sessions covering hand-building, wheel-throwing, and sculptural techniques. Classes include 25 lbs of clay, glazing, and firing. Students receive personalized instruction in small groups with flexible scheduling options for morning, evening, and weekend classes.

Private Instruction

Customized pottery lessons for individuals or small groups. Available for all skill levels with flexible scheduling. Includes materials and firing fees. Hour-long sessions focus on specific techniques or project development with direct instructor guidance.

Clay Parties

Specialized pottery events for adult groups (8-15 participants). Includes 2-hour instruction, materials, and firing. Organizer provides refreshments with full cleanup responsibility. Requires $200 deposit with balance due at event date.

Open Studio Time

Scheduled practice time for enrolled students. Includes equipment access without instruction. Available Wednesdays 7-9 PM and Fridays 12-3 PM. Ten hours included per session with advance scheduling required.

Custom Art Pieces

Personalized ceramic art creation services. Available for functional or decorative pieces with consultation-based design. Includes material costs and firing with pickup arrangements after completion.

Dahl Arts Studio hosted a birthday party for my son where the kids all got to make pottery on the potter's wheel. They were super friendly, very helpful, and everyone had a great time! Highly recommended.

Dahl Arts Studio was such a good time! A friend and I went in on using a LivingSocial deal and had a great experience. Dirk was so helpful and encouraging and made our experience more fun. I wish the studio was closer to home so I could sign up for classes on a regular basis. I'm excited to see my piece and to come back again for another session. Thank you Dirk!

Love this studio! Went with friends on a deal and had so much fun that I started taking the adult classes. Dirk is awesome and very entertaining. It's not like other art classes - Dirk encourages you to do your own thing. The mantra of the studio is "You're the artist".
I'd totally recommend the classes for kids and for adults. Dirk has a great heart and a great personality and his work is just incredible - it's very inspiring to be part of a studio like this where everyone is respected and everyone has fun.
