Our New Facility
Report
We are excited to share that our next home will be in Pioneer Square in the Foster/White Gallery building located at 220 Third Avenue South. Finding a location in a more diverse neighborhood was a priority as easy physical access to the pottery is a first step in inclusion and equity. Feedback from our community survey revealed the importance of having a location that is also easily accessible by transit.
Studio Access
Report
We are moving! Work is already underway on the new space, with a goal of reopening programming in late spring 2022, though due to forces beyond our control, it could take longer than hoped. We are committed to sharing updates as things progress via our website and newsletter.
Studio Access developed during the pandemic as a way for Pottery Northwest to offer studio time and space to our students when we were unable to offer traditional classes, and is intended for people with experience in working with clay. You will get the most from your experience if you are familiar with the Pottery Northwest studio layout and enjoy working independently with minimal direction.

Please note that because of the uncertainties of our upcoming move, we are suspending Clay at Home after the Fall 2021 quarter. Once you are ready to have them bisque fired, transport your leather-hard pieces to Pottery Northwest (see further instructions and tips below) and place them on the shelf marked 'Greenware'.
