Park West's mission is to respect children as growing individuals, provide support and varied opportunities to further their thinking, and help them develop a love of learning. We want to meet each child, and each family, where they are, and to foster a community within which optimal growth and learning can take place.

Courtney graciously pulled together her favorite books and podcasts for parenting the preschool aged child in reflection of Park West teachings and philosophy. Among many of the exciting developments during the preschool years is transitioning from diapers to using the toilet. Children are typically ready to start learning about the toilet between the ages of 2 1/2 and 4.

The Park West Approach
Report
We respect and address separation as an ongoing developmental issue, and provide a gradual entry into school at the beginning of the year. We invite children to follow their interests, make choices, connect with each other, and come together as a group to share conversations, songs, stories and ideas.
Board and Committees
