Stepping Stones is a year-round nursery school & preschool in Chicago with an emphasis on play-based learning. Located in Logan Square and Lincoln Square. We believe in giving children space to learn independently and connecting children with the magic of nature - even our littlest ones! Our teachers are dedicated early childhood educators that develop authentic relationships with the children and meaningfully guide your child's development.
My son has attended stepping stones nursery school since January of 2013 when he was 3 months old. Vici Hilton is an exceptionally caring and professional child care provider with a vision of play based learning in a safe, loving environment. Vici is trustworthy and dedicated and has selected staff that are exceptional to work with our children.

At Stepping Stones we believe that a child's caregiving staff should be inclusive, and representative of the community at large. School is a place where children learn to value the similarities and differences between themselves and their peers and caregivers, and each member of the school community brings a part of their family culture into the whole.
Lincoln square

Our Lincoln Square location features a sun drenched, airy loft feel with new furnishings and innovative design. Stepping Stones classrooms promote calm, insight curiosity and spark creativity. Our expansive atrium is outfitted with an imaginative play space, providing room for children to be physically active and independent.
