Affordable Housing and Career Development Services
Evolve is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming communities through two core missions: affordable housing management and career development. Founded to address systemic inequities in housing and labor industries, we provide culturally specific workforce development programs and community-centered housing solutions. Our bilingual (English/Spanish) services include the T.E.A.C.H. program, which offers free workshops preparing individuals for careers in affordable housing management, and personalized career coaching focused on resume development, job placement, and financial stability. We manage 475 affordable housing units across seven Oregon cities, prioritizing workforce families, low-income residents, agricultural workers, and seniors. Our team of bilingual professionals combines technical training with soft skills development, including CPR certification and fair housing compliance.

With partnerships across Oregon, we extend resident services through collaborations with nonprofit developers and culturally specific organizations. Our values of respect, integrity, and creativity guide our efforts to create equitable living and working conditions. We serve Marion, Polk, and Linn counties with housing and statewide career development programs. Our leadership team brings decades of experience in housing advocacy, workforce training, and community organizing. As a subsidiary of FHDC, we align with a legacy of addressing systemic oppression through housing and economic empowerment initiatives.

I am so happy with my new manager Sean. He came in and corrected all the issues at our complex. I think he actually cares about us and out homes.
