The Ladybug Playhouse Nursery School prides itself in creating a safe, nurturing and caring environment in which our students get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our children.

Toddler
Report
Our toddler program engages and prepares children 18 months-36 months to become independent and social. In a safe and nurturing environment, we encourage our toddlers to explore and learn through a variety of themed lessons and play. Toddlers are introduced to a variety of activities and topics that support their social, emotional and intellectual growth.
Nursery School
Report
Our Nursery School program further supports our children's social emotional and intellectual growth. Yoga, Story Time, and Experimenting with Science and Math are just some of the exciting and engaging activities our children participate in. Our curriculum is designed to help foster positive experiences through play that are developmentally appropriate and encourage learning.
Our Pre-K (Kindergarten Readiness) Program helps prepare our students for Kindergarten. Reading & Writing skills, Site Word Vocabulary Building, Math Concepts, Science and a very fun Enrichment Program (Passport Around the World) are some of the components taught and reinforced this year. In our center based program children have the opportunity to learn and practice what they've learned in a variety of ways.
Enrichment

During our enrichment program our children learn about different countries and cultures from around the world. Every month we visit a new country. The children explore the culture, food, customs, language, architecture, landmarks, currency, and the animals associated with the region. Activities consist of process art, music and movement, block play, film snip-its, acting, story telling and more.
Matt the Music Man
Report
Matt the Music man has been visiting our school for a few years. The children are always excited to see him. In his class the children play drums and various other instruments. He teaches them many songs while he plays his guitar. Mr. Matt also has puppets that he brings to life in such a fun way that you could hear the laughter through the doors.
