Surya Yoga opened in the spring of 2014 to the El Paso community. Integrity is at the core of our business, and we pay homage to the traditions of yoga philosophy while understanding we live in a modern world. Our studio is built on our values and teachings, and we have some of the most highly trained and diversely experienced instructors in the area.
We also offer both a 200Hour Yoga Teacher Training, as well as a 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training program. Yoga will tone and strengthen muscles, cultivate balance of body and mind, and help you to build awareness of inner workings of your true self. It is a "practice" that invites you to come to your mat to refine breathing, movement, and optimal alignment in an experience of respect, patience, and grace.

See below for our most up-to-date schedule. Note when booking, if class says "virtual" after the name the class is being offered livestreaming via Zoom. Sign up via Mindbody at least 30 minutes prior to virtual class start time and you will be emailed a Zoom join link 20 minutes before class. Simply join the meeting and practice with us.

Our monthly membership is the most affordable option for regular practitioners. We believe having a regular yoga practice is of the utmost importance to mental and physical health. To support you in your yoga practice we offer an affordable $125/month membership option. There is a minimum 3 month commitment, and then the contract AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS on a month-to-month basis.

Surya Yoga boasts some of the most experienced and widely trained yoga instructors in the El Paso region. Come experience quality instruction in a safe and supportive environment. All of our instructors have gone through teacher training programs recognized by the Yoga Alliance. LAVON sought a counterbalance to running and lifting weights, so she began practicing yoga about 5 years ago.

In this year long program, you will join together with other like-minded individuals in order to delve more deeply into the art of teaching yoga in a modern world. We will explore the classic traditions of Yoga and explore how we can bring some of those ancient ideas into the microcosm of our studio asana practice.
