Little Flippers Swim School

Little Flippers Swim School was founded after learning 2 separate sets of twins drowned in backyard pools one summer here in MA. Drawing on her expertise with working with children in her movement education center at Planet Gymnastics, and being a twin herself, Sally Poveromo M. Ed., consulted her husband, a former NCAA College swimming and diving team member, and together they researched the best swim schools around the country.

With parent, grandparent, or primary caretaker, infants are welcome to experience our water for the first time in our LITTLE FLIPPERS program. These 30 minute classes are intended for infants and young toddlers (ages 6 months-36 months) to build swimming readiness. Using songs, games and props these classes are all about having fun in the water.

Swim Kids 1 is designed for students to learn basic personal water safety skills and to help them feel more comfortable and confident in the water. Our goal is for students to develop a positive attitude, good swimming habits and enjoy the water! Swim Kids 1 Group Lessons are $133/month billed in 5 equal monthly payments or save $39 by paying in full ($626).

Private Lessons provide students with independent instruction from one of our talented instructors. A Private Lesson is more personalized for the individual child as it can enhance skill learning and lesson effectiveness. Private Lessons can be tailored to a child's specific needs while also working on skills they wish to master.

Of course, the heart of our swim school is our dynamic professional teaching staff. They are specifically chosen for their child friendly personalities, maturity and compassion for children. In addition to their love of children and talent for teaching, they are all certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED.
