Marin Tutors offers private tutoring in all subjects for elementary, middle school and high school students in Marin County, Santa Rosa, and San Francisco. Our tutors are upbeat, positive and build strong rapport with their students to get them excited about learning math and other subjects. We come to you and take pride in customer service.

Marin Tutors began in 1999 while Shannon was working as an adjunct college level math professor in Woodside, California. Her vision was: "What if we could reach more students not just in advanced math, but also in all subjects and grade levels so that every student has college choices"? The company began with one tutor, a high school Physics teacher.

Our professional staff tutors students in a wide range of core subjects, foreign languages, time management, standardized test preparation and college admission planning. We also tutor students who are home schooled or enrolled in other independent study programs, as well as those who are in gifted or remediation programs.
