A locally owned company, Tamalpais Tutoring was established in 2005 by Jock Christie after he had been tutoring in Marin County, California for many years.
We are conveniently located in Kentfield, near College of Marin. We proudly serve students from all over Marin County, including San Anselmo, Larkspur, San Rafael, Novato, and Mill Valley, as well as college students in Berkeley, San Francisco, and beyond. Our knowledgeable and experienced tutors are dedicated to helping students succeed in science and math. Jock is an experienced math and science tutor who began his career teaching physics at the Taft School in 1987, after graduating from Princeton. He earned an M.S. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and then worked in the aerospace industry for several years before returning to teaching.
