I began tutoring 15 years ago. Since then, I've worked successfully with a wide variety of students and families around the Bay Area. I've helped students improve their grades, raise their test scores, and earn admission into top colleges and universities. My wide-ranging experience includes training with three respected agencies and one of the country's top accelerated learning programs, along with face-to-face work with hundreds of students.
I'm a member of the Bay Area Tutoring Summit (BATS), which provides ongoing professional development and peer review opportunities for private educators. A year of being "behind the desk"--instructing AP Psychology at Sacred Heart Cathedral in place of a teacher who took an unexpected leave of absence-has further enriched and informed how I work with my private clients.

Services
SAT+ACT
Report
In my 16 years providing SAT/ACT prep, I've worked with students from nearly every high school in San Francisco and many others beyond. Most of my students attend schools like S.I., Lick, University, Urban, SHC, and Lowell. Many of my students do their test prep in a small group of 2-6 total students.
College
Report
College admissions can be confusing, time-consuming, and stressful. And the reality is that many students make avoidable mistakes-from the colleges they choose, to the essays they submit, to the way they describe their extracurriculars. That's why I offer one-on-one assistance with all aspects of the college admissions process - whether you just need help with a single essay, or seek ongoing guidance through your full range of applications.
