We are based at Indian Hills Ranch in Milpitas, CA. Indian Hills Ranch is a friendly horse-focused boarding facility which includes two outdoor arenas, an indoor arena, turn outs, and access to miles of trails. This beautiful facility overlooking the bay is just 3 minutes from I-680 in Milpitas. Our facility is convenient to the South Bay, East Bay, and the Peninsula.

Ali Kermeen grew up riding at a top eventing barn in the east bay. As a junior rider she developed a love for enjoying horses in all disciplines, including dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper, gymkhana, western, and trail riding. She has carried love of different disciplines into her professional life, with the basis of all her training being dressage principles integrated with Dorrance style horsemanship.

Lease Horses

Leasing is an affordable and educational stepping stone to horse ownership. All horses must remain on site with HC Equestrian at Indian Hills Ranch in the Bay Area, and weekly lessons are required. Prices start at $395/ month for a 2 day a week lease, lessons included. Most horses are available to their leasers to take to horse shows, and participate in other activities.

HC Equestrian offers private, semi-private, and group lessons. We offer instruction in Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, Western, Western Dressage, Groundwork, and Reining. HC Equestrian instructors and clinicians are certified, experienced and reliable. We have a focus on goal-oriented, quality instruction and cater to riders who show regularly, as well as those just looking to have fun and learn more with their horses.

Working Equitation Clinics and Shows

Working Equitation is a fast growing sport in which competitors may ride ANY type of horse, in ANY style of tack. It is a multi phase competition that includes a dressage trial, an ease of handling trial (obstacles), and a obstacles at speed phase. Team competitions may also include a cattle phase.
