Horizons East Equestrian Center is a family owned and operated stable that has trained the Tri-Valley's top riders for over 35 years.

This state of the art stable, spotlighted on NBC, is located on the border of Pleasanton and Livermore California. It offers the finest in care for Hunter / Jumper performance horses and their riders. Our full service staff will help you feel comfortable from your first lesson to the show ring. English riding lessons are offered Monday through Sunday throughout the day and evening hours for flexible scheduling by multiple professional instructors on over 15 lesson horses and ponies. Riding available all seasons with covered indoor arena and large outdoor arena.
Riding Levels

Horizons East has set up the chart below in order to help each rider understand what abilities are required. In order to progress through the different Riding Levels, the student should ride a minimum of 2 times per week in order to perform the tasks listed. For advancement, a higher performance horse/pony can be rented per lesson for 'upgrade rides.' Ask your instructor for more information.

The children will experience two full hours of fun and excitement while we entertain them with pony rides, a mini horsemanship lesson and grooming at our Equestrian Center. You will have the facility exclusively for your friends and family for three full hours, including 1/2 hour for set-up and clean up time.

Medications Bute-Roboxin is administered. This is standard to keep horses comfortable during the show as they are used heavily as compared too home use. Other products may be suggested, such as Gastro-Guard, Perfect Prep, etc. Grooming: hoof oil, show sheen, fly spray, magic cushion (hoof packing for sore feet), ointments, liniments.
Competitive Training Program

Tacking/untacking for the owners needed (Has to be prearranged so staff can be available). Organizing of Horse Show Competitions: Transport, board at show and overall care of your horse/pony during the event. Automatic fly system (non-toxic) that operates hourly for the comfort and health of horses and customers.
