EBNS is a parent-run "cooperative" nursery school and kindergarten. Our Waldorf-style program is centered on daily immersion into the natural world around us. Led by longtime educator, Tom Moore, children are taught through a sense of curiosity and wonder at the world around us. The cooperative structure of the school means that all parents of enrolled students share classroom assistant responsibilities and administrative work equally.
This creates a close-knit community that is united in its mission to bring the best early-educational experience possible to EBNS children! We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively.

EBNS is a parent-run cooperative school that uses Waldorf-inspired educational method. This means that our school is focused on building a strong connection to nature (students are outdoors daily) and emotional development (children learn to love and respect themselves and others). Our classes place emphasis on three philosophies; thinking, feeling, doing.
