Irondequoit Cooperative Nursery School
Established in 1946, ICNS is a collection of families drawn together by a common interest: taking an active role in their children's education. The school is governed by parents and employs a highly qualified, certified teacher who directs the educational program. Working together, we strive to build an environment in which children can learn through play and begin to make the transition from home to full-time school.

Registration is open for the school year starting in September of 2021. There are a limited number of openings in the 4s program and we are accepting requests to be wait-listed for the 3s classes. If you want additional information, please email or call us at 775-8146 to arrange a time to visit or talk.

About ICNS
Report
They were looking for a program that would provide their children a good early education and also develop important relationships with other children through play. It is in that philosophy that ICNS was established. We are the oldest nursery school in Irondequoit and are pleased to have had many multigenerational family members attend our school.

Exciting news: Starting in mid-June of 2021, ICNS will move to the Irondequoit United Church of Christ (IUCC) at 644 Titus Avenue, just 1 mile from our current location. IUCC is centrally located across from I-Square and the House of Guitars. It is a forward thinking congregation that believes in inclusiveness and hospitality and that faith is about more than Sunday worship.
