Pearl is integrating more Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into our curriculum through hands on activities. STEM is vital in preparing our children for the future and helping them thrive in our growing global community. Each month teachers lead field trips, school camps and other excursions to fascinating destinations.

Two hands help in the growth and development of a pearl. One is the guiding hand of a teacher who is dedicated to a child's educational and developmental well-being. The other is the hand of the parent, who provides support and plays a vital role in the ongoing learning process. Together, these two hands form a stimulating, caring environment encouraging the physical, mental and spiritual growth of a child.
International Students

Pearl Prep is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimigrant alien students. There are a limited amount of seats available. We encourage you to apply early to start the process. A home stay program is not currently available as students are encouraged to stay with family members. I-20's will only be issued after the application process is completed and the student has been officially accepted into the school.

This school is a hidden gem and we are truly blessed to have become part of such a wonderful and loving community. We hope to continue our relationship for many years to come. We would strongly recommend this school. Pearl Prep has been great for my children! They love to go to school and sometimes don't want to leave.

At Pearl we believe that students learn by doing. With that philosophy in mind, field trips are an integral part of the Pearl curriculum and are monthly occurrences. Pearl students experience a broad range of field trips from living history programs to nature programs to theatrical performances.

Character and leadership training are an integral part of instruction at Pearl. Each month has a theme such as responsibility, honesty, respect, caring and perseverance.

Class Camps

Our kindergarten and 1st grade students spend an extended day at Mt. Kare which is our private camping facility located near Wrightwood in the Angeles National Forest. In kindergarten the focus is on an appreciation for nature and all its wonder with a study of the wildlife and plants. In 1st grade the students study birds and learn how to be a good "bird watcher" and even make their own bird feeders.
