Carden Academy of Whittier serves preschool - Grade 5. We are accredited by the Carden Educational Foundation and provide a traditional curriculum. Teachers receive training through the foundation and work with students in small groups. All grades are interrelated and sequential; each build upon the last to give security in academics and create a solid foundation for future education.

These days, it is difficult to gauge whether we are living in the best or worst of days. These times require us to acclimate to the shifts in public opinion, government policy, and social displacement. Despite the acclimation, these days also offer us the opportunity to be protectors of what we value.
The Carden Method

Miss Mae Carden, nationally known educator and author of The Carden Method, developed and independently published the curriculum now used throughout the United States. The Carden Method is a vital educational philosophy with proven teaching techniques applied to a curriculum concerned with the development of the whole child.
Our Preschool
Report
We understand that early education is a critical step for little ones and an important decision for parents when selecting a school. Our program is focused on age level appropriate learning. Students can start as young as 2.5 in the three year old class. We also have a four year old and pre-k class.
