Welcome to Echo Farm! Echo Farm was established in 1826 as a dairy farm by the Lawrence family and later bought by Al Ridgeway in 1959 and changed to a horse farm. Today, Echo Farm is a bustling equestrian facility and a fixture in the Lewisboro community; conveniently located in South Salem, NY, bordering Ridgefield, Connecticut and a five-minute trailer ride to hundreds of miles of trails in the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.

The barn sits on 28 open acres offering riding lessons for children and adults, IEA team, horsemanship program, and boarding. Navigation: Horse Shows | Hunter Pace Whether you are an experienced pacer or someone new, hunter pacing is a low-key competitive. Our past summer camps have been filled with great families and a lot of fun and excitement!

Full board includes stall cleaning seven days a week; two outdoor rings, one with brand new travel light footing; your choice of on site instructors; access to miles of trails, newly constructed 75' x 160' lighted indoor arena with dust-free footing; one full sized dressage arena and one enclosed. Training Board - is offered to anyone who would like to incorporate board, lessons, and training of horse into one monthly fee.

Echo Farm offers the most complete English and Western riding program in the area. We focus on the basics and safety while bringing the students along with their goals in mind. Camp

Our past summer camps have been filled with great families and a lot of fun and excitement! We look forward to seeing many familiar faces this season as well as welcoming new friends and families. No prior riding or horse related experience is necessary to participate in our camp program here at Echo Farm.
IEA Team
Report
Echo Farm hosts an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team. This team allows students to compete both locally and possibly nationally. IEA teams are open to riders in middle school (grades 6 - 8) and high school (grades 9 - 12), in both public and private schools. It offers classes from walk trot all the way to Varsity jumping, 2'.6.
Competitions

Echo Farm offers a full range of showing opportunities for our students, from in-house schooling shows and local schooling shows to USEF rated competitions in addition to our IEA Team Competitions. Whether you are an experienced pacer or someone new, hunter pacing is a low-key competitive event derived from fox hunting where teams of two or three riders follow an outdoor course.
