Since 1949, Kelsey Farm has been teaching young people to ride. Rooted in a long family tradition of horsemanship, sportsmanship and skill, our commitment is that our riders be safe, have fun and ride well. Kelsey Farm is hands on! Students groom, tack up, learn horsemanship and develop a connection with their horses.
We teach classical hunter seat equitation and versatile, effective riding. Our students are as comfortable in competition as on the trails. We offer a safe space for kids to compete, learn, play, get dirty and find their best selves. A haven of acceptance, mutual respect and dedication to the sport of horseback riding, we are home away from home to many of our students.

PDC- Summer Riding Program
Report
At PDC, in addition to daily riding lessons, riders groom, tack up, untack, wash and graze their ponies and horses. Each session features a customized riding and/or horsemanship theme such as veterinary care, horse show judging, vaulting, horse showing, or cross country riding. Our higher level riders are given a more intense riding and horsemanship program.
