We are a full service boarding facility offering training and horseback riding lessons daily. Located in scenic Mid-Hudson Valley, NY, our relaxed, family atmosphere offers something for everyone; from beginner pony lessons right up to Show Prep clinics - from Classical Dressage to Western Pleasure.
We have an active show program which is maintained for those interested riders. Of course, pleasure horses are always welcome as our facility is free of the pressures to compete and show. We offer superior horse care and our excellent, experienced staff create a safe and relaxed environment for our horses and riders.

Owner, Shelley Gray, started Ivy Rock Farms 30 years ago with the goal to provide the highest quality of horse care possible and to create a facility that allows children & adults, from all walks of life, to enjoy horses safely, affordably and with excellent instruction. Ivy Rock was created with careful attention to meet the individual needs of each horse and rider.
Lessons

Every student, boarder, leaser and trainer are required to wear an astm-sei certified helmet (provided at facility), long pants and proper heeled boots. Ivy rock believes that riders of all abilities and disciplines achieve the greatest benefits from the consistency in their lessons. We provide professional and qualified instructors, volunteers and horses for our riders.
Boarding

We offer professional boarding where care for the "horse" is top priority. Our horses enjoy a "green" lifestyle with all organic hay, pesticide free pastures, organic fly protection and mineral enriched well water. We offer qualified staff to help the owner rest easy, knowing that their horse is being cared for properly.

We provide camps and equine related programs during the year for adults and children alike. There is a place at Ivy Rock Farms for all types of riders and horse lovers. We sponsor many different programs to get people who loves horses to become a part of something they really enjoy. Below is information on current camps and programs.
Leasing & Sales
Report
This is a very economical way to practice having a horse to call your own, without all of the financial responsibilities of ownership. Come to ride, groom, play and visit with the horse you choose. 3-6 rides per week are included in the packages, and students are welcome to ride anytime instructors are teaching.
