Mead Farm is one of the oldest horse riding establishments in Stamford with a history dating back to 1928. We offer boarding, leasing, sales, seasonal programs and year-round lessons for children and adults. From the first time rider to the more advanced, our instructors provide a comprehensive and challenging riding experience within a casual atmosphere.
Own-Your-Own-Horse for a Day is a full day educational program designed to give the experience of horse ownership. Both introductory and advanced programs which include horsemanship and riding instruction.

Policy & Rates
Report
New students are required to take a private 1/2 hour lesson to assess their riding ability. An approved original waiver packet must be on file prior to booking your first lesson. A separate waiver is required for each rider. Mead Farm reserves the right to substitute a comparable instructor without prior notification.
