Music Quarters is a family owned and operated music lessons studio located in the South Charlotte community. Opening in 2008 at the Colony Place Shopping Center located at Colony and Rea Roads, Music Quarters has became a music school of choice for many reasons. The Presley Family lived and grew up in the neighborhood where Music Quarters is located so opening a business in this area felt like home.

Music Quarters at Colony Place opened in 2008, probably during one of the most challenging economic times of U.S. history. But for us, we knew the time was right to begin our journey of starting our music lesson studio business.
Being located in the heart of the Olde Providence neighborhood and within close proximity to many schools both public and private, we knew we were going to offer a service of music lessons to families that would be of great value to children of all ages interested in learning how to play music.Music Quarters Colony Place has reached out to many families and students within the south Charlotte area and beyond.

If you are a high-energy, passionate guitar instructor or a violin instructor looking to work in a professional, fun music studio, just email us your resume. We have openings at Music Quarters for an experience instructor that can teach beginner to advanced level students of all ages. We have studios available to teach in-studio and you have the option to offer virtual lessons on other days as well.

Our private music lessons are 30 minutes each and we offer a variety of instruments. One hour lessons are available and are best suited for the intermediate to advanced music student. 5+ and older. We find a 30-minute lesson for a young beginner works best for a child 5 years of age and older. We teach adults of all ages and levels and believe it is never too late to learn an instrument!

A year later of returning to the studio for in-studio teaching, we are excited to have a majority of our students back in the studio for lessons. While virtual lessons was a great option for all of us during the uncertain times of 2020, we have seen a dramatic change in the progress of our students that have returned to the studio.and of course, we love seeing our students again in person!
