Toyota of Wausau was the first venture outside of the Madison, Wisconsin area for our Ballweg Automotive Companies. It was also the first import brand we took on to give us a greater reach in the Wisconsin automotive market. Our General Manager grew up in Sauk City, Wisconsin, the location of Ballweg Chevrolet Buick established in 1965 and has been part of our business since 2001 before he took on the leadership role in Wausau.
His vast experience in sales, service, parts, accounting, finance and management made him the perfect fit for our expansion into the import market. And although we were new to the Wausau/Stevens Point area when we opened in 2007, Toyota of Wausau quickly became a fixture in the community. We are proud to support local charity efforts such as the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store and many others.
