Driving Schools have been classified as essential. The state of Maryland MVA has provided guidelines and procedures for us to reopen. We have reopened with in-person classroom and Behind the Wheel (BTW) instruction. Please register now for the class of your choice so we may follow the MVA rules for safety, spacing and class size limitations.

Continue to stay safe and be blessed. The Safe Way Driving School is licensed and approved by the Maryland State Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to provide the following driver education services. In addition to MVA approval, the school is a member of the Maryland Professional Driver's Education Association, which sets the highest standards for Maryland driving schools.

The Drivers Education Program is a thirty-six (36) hour class. The purpose of the class is to help new drivers become "Safe, Responsible and Courteous Drivers". Our goal is to assist every participant with gaining classroom and behind-the-wheel road training that will help to prevent accidents, comply with the motor vehicle rules and regulations and licensing requirements, and respect for other drivers and users of the roads.

The Safe Way Driving School cost is currently $310.00 for the required 36 hour Drivers Education Program. We have flexible payment plans that allow a student to register with a deposit of one-half and complete the classroom portion, then pay the balance prior to the start of the behind-the-wheel sessions.
