Re-Examination Course

Driver's license applicants who fail the knowledge or behind-the-wheel examination three times will be required to successfully complete the applicable knowledge or in-vehicle component of a driver education course before they can take the examination a fourth time. Persons failing the road test must take the behind-the-wheel component of driver education.

Testing Sites

When out of state drivers complete our Virginia driving improvement class online they can go to a local library. We ask them to call us from there to get the access code. We also ask them to print the course transcript and have the local staff fill it out. Please call the library first to confirm the hours and inform them you will be coming by to take the test.
