Yoga East
Our class schedule includes ashtanga vinyasa, yin, restorative, meditation, and Mysore-for all ages and abilities, livestream and in-person. Our classes are an exploration of personal practice and the deeper meaning of yoga in relationship to all aspects of life. This is an interactive discussion on the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali.

The Sutras are regarded as the authoritative text on yoga, outlining the eight limbs and offering guidelines for living a meaningful and purposeful life. Join Taylor for a unique opportunity to receive individual attention and deepen your practice in a Mysore-style setting. This course is designed for anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of the major muscle groups, skeletal structure, and ligaments that are used in our daily practice.

Classes celebrating the Ashtanga tradition include led classes: Beginner Vinyasa, Vinyasa I, Vinyasa II, Primary Series, and Second Series, which are available every day. In addition, we offer guided independent study classes called Mysore 5 days a week. Each student works at their own pace and level with an individual series or therapeutic approach.
Ashtanga Beginner Series
Report
The foundation of any practice begins with the basics. This class is THE PLACE TO START for anyone interested in beginning yoga or reconnecting with their practice. You are given the opportunity to explore your breath (ujjayi), meditative movement (vinyasa), and calming the mind by turning your awareness inward towards the unique aspects of Ashtanga yoga.
Monthly Chair Yoga Workshop
Report
Props are there to take the personal out of the practice. There are so many props used as tools we use in an asana practice to achieve this: blocks, straps, poles, blankets, sandbags, to name a few. My favorite prop is a chair. It is a sturdy tool that has all of the angles we look to find in our practice.
