
Stand with your feet parallel, joints stacked, and natural curves in the spine. Place your right hand to the belly, and the left hand to the chest. Deepen your breath, take 5 slow Three-part Yogic Breaths. Stay in Mountain Pose, reach arms overhead side stretch to the side, by leaning to the right, hold for 3 breaths, switch sides.
Hinge forward from the hip crease, bend your knees deeply until your fingertips touch the floor, lift chest away from legs, in a mini lift, keep left fingers to the floor, twist upper body right, hand to hip or arm extended, hold for 3 breaths, switch sides. Lower to hands and knees, to a table top position.

Colleen is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), and a Reiki Master, Teacher and Trainer. She has been practicing yoga as a dedicated student for over 21 years, and teaching for 16 of those years.

If there are no reservations for a class 2 hours before the start time, the class will be canceled. Teacher will sign-on to on-line classes approximately 5 minutes prior to class start time. If you set your equipment up so that the teacher can see you on your screen, you will be able to receive alignment recommendations which can help to keep you safe during your practice.

Please be mindful in your movement. If a movement or pose doesn't feel good, slowly come out of it. Avoid quick, jerky movements during the class. You always have permission to unmute yourself and ask a question. Have fun! This is a detail oriented exercise class, with focus on engaging specific muscles for different exercises.

These training weekends were developed for students who want a deeper experience and understanding of yoga. They also provide Yoga Alliance CEU's for certified yoga teachers (12 hours for each training weekend). Every training I've taken with Blossoming has been fantastic! Colleen is meticulous and very thorough when preparing her presentations.
