Had Southpaw come out for a home inspection on a new purchase and so far we had to install a brand new sprinkler system and just got a quote for a patio door with many problems and will need to be replaced. We’ve spent over $6k since being in this home and I feel southpaw have failed me on the home inspection.

Brent was very easy to work with and has a wealth of knowledge. The home inspection was thorough and the notes he provided were clear. He caught even the minor things. He provided some flexibility when we needed it and went above and beyond our expectations. If we need another home inspection in the future, I will definitely use Brent again!

My wife and I had Brent do an inspection for us. We were referred to him and told he keeps things simple so that anyone can understand what his report says, and he delivered! This is the first time I've ever had a home inspection done, so I wasn't positive what to expect.
Brent did a walk through of the property and pointed out all sorts of stuff my wife and I hadn't noticed or thought anything about. He explained how the damage/wear happens, what we can do to fix it/address it, and approximated about how much some of the smaller repairs would cost to get materials to fix. He also included videos

Very satisfied with the service they provided. There was a bit of a mix up at first and I showed up to the inspection at the designated time. They explained that they normally do their work and then the interested party shows up. My mistake. But, Brent handled it like a champ and invited me to tag along. He even asked if there were things I wanted to cover first! I had noticed several concerns so we went over them. Then he started his normal inspection and WOW! Talk about a learning experience! My gf and I had Brent do a home inspection for us and I can't find anything bad to say about this guy or the service he provided. He was super nice and responded to our emails and texts promptly. After the inspection he even told us that he can take extra videos for is so we didn't have to risk a drive in a super bad snowstorm! He showed us what he found though and explained what we could do and even how it happens, etc. It was a very thorough inspection and the report we received was phenomenal.

Brent and Michelle were very thorough and professional. They asked us to delay the inspection in order to check for wind damage because of a storm that was happening that day. I appreciated the thoughtfulness in wanting the best and not just doing the inspection to get it done. They kept in contact with us before and after the inspection and we had the results that night.
