Which Charity or Nonprofit Should You Choose in Fort Lauderdale, FL?

South Florida Wildlife Center is a nonprofit wildlife trauma hospital and rehabilitation facility dedicated to rescuing and releasing injured and orphaned animals while educating the public about environmental stewardship. Since 1969, we've treated over 10,000 animals annually across 300 species, operating Florida's highest-volume wildlife care facility. Our mission combines hands-on animal care with community education through ambassador animals and outreach programs.

Wild Over Wildlife empowers youth to become conservation leaders through hands-on projects protecting endangered species and habitats. We restore mangrove forests, rescue abandoned animals, and produce educational documentaries. Our programs combine marine biology education with community action, serving Fort Lauderdale and global ecosystems.
