Landon was recently appointed as an Ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars and has been sharing information about the organization with his peers ever since. As the president and CEO of a 501c3 non-profit charity, Wild Over Wildlife, Landon has had ample opportunities to raise awareness about wildlife.

He organizes ongoing community service projects, such as mangrove restoration and arranging eco-tourism adventures to engage families with nature. Landon also travels to film endangered species and threatened habitats, and makes documentaries to share his experiences with the world.

About Us
Report
In 2009, Christian, Derek, and Landon Petrisko, just 9, 7, and 5 at the time, founded Wild Over Wildlife, or WOW! They have raised tens of thousands of dollars for animals and the environment. By targeting children of all ages, they hope to educate the next generation about preservation and conservation issues.
Projects
Report
Join us as we help world famous marine life photographer Jim Abernethy spread his conservation message to children in Riviera Beach. Children who can't swim will be taught, those who can will be taught to snorkel, and if they can already snorkel, they will be taught to SCUBA dive. Join us throughout the summer as we harvest corals from an offshore nursery and transplant them to living reefs in the Florida Keys.
Get Involved
Report
Dr. Dana Fahey is the club's advisor and primary educator. The children are not only taught about the animals, but also get a geography lesson as our animals are from all over the world. Guests are always making appearances to share their wealth of knowledge and bring a different variety of exotic animals to be experienced by the children.
A Voice for the Voiceless
Report
More damage has been done to the planet, and all of its inhabitants, in the past 50 years than in the previous thousands of years man has shared the earth with animals. The WOW! Club's founders, Christian, Derek, and Landon Petrisko's goals are to protect all endangered, domestic, and exotic animals as well as their habitats.
Donate
Report
Wild Over Wildlife provides a forever home to abused, surrendered, or abandoned exotic animals. Food, vet bills, and bedding costs are quite high. We are a 501c3 non-profit charity. We are completely funded out of pocket and through the generosity of our club members. Donations also support outside presentations in an effort to further educate the children on exotic animals.
