Back in 1910, the original 9 holes of Faribault Golf & Country Club were first designed, constructed and opened for play. The facility has been a staple of the community ever since. The Legacy in Faribault, Minnesota is a 6,500-yard, 18-hole Championship facility with a course rating of 71.5 - slope 136. The Legacy project, which includes over 100 uniquely different golf community home sites, was started in the early 1990's. The golf course designed by nationally accredited golf architect Garret Gill opened for play in 1998.
