Sanu was born in a village in Kochi, Kerala also known as the 'Land of Spices', famous for its food with unique style and taste. Inspired by his mother, he discovered his passion for cooking at the tender age of 10 by making Kerala dishes like appam, dosas and vadas. Sanu received his Bachelors in Hotel Management from Oxford College, Bangalore, and started his career as a Chef's assistant in Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
