We are a full service animal hospital offering modern evidence based medicine to keep your pet healthy. To keep our team informed on the latest medical changes and enhancements, we are closed the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 12pm to 2pm. At Great Northwest Animal Hospital, we make it our goal to ensure your pet receives the quality care and attention you'd come to expect for any member of your family.

Our highly skilled and trained doctors will work as a team to ensure your pet is treated with the best medicine possible. Since 1981, a foundation of Great Northwest Animal Hospital has been to prevent disease before it has a chance to develop. That's why every pet in our preventative health program receives a complete nose to tail physical exam.

Our History
Report
In 1980, Dr. John Johnson broke ground on Great Northwest Animal Hospital. At this time, Culebra was little more than a farm road and the land surrounding the build site was mostly pasture. The tenant spaces in the Great Northwest Animal Hospital building were demolished to build a brand new hospital capable of holding more doctors and exam rooms.

The physical examination is one of the most important procedures we do at Great Northwest Animal Hospital. It sets the foundation for the remainder of the visit. Whether you're pet is visiting for a wellness visit or they are just feeling under the weather today, the doctor's findings during the examination will help determine what the next step needs to be.
Our Veterinarians
