Ernest's Orleans Restaurant is a family owned and operated business. The late Chef Ernest Sr. had deep roots in the city of New Orleans which was brought to Shreveport in the late forties. Marjorie Palmisano was learned at the famous Elmwood Plantation Restaurant. These influences in addition to Chef Ernest Palmisano Jr.'s drive for excellence are apparent in all dining experiences.

Ernest's Orleans Restaurant, in keeping with tradition, has been serving its own unique style and flavors of "The Finest" US Prime Beef, Seafood and Italian cuisine for over 69 years. The evening menu has many superb dishes to chose from. It's always a pleasure, for our formally trained wait staff, to vocalize the exquisite "Chef Features" that are available throughout the week.

Shrimp, Crabmeat, Lettuce and Tomatoes with French Dressing. Half avocado stuffed with shrimp or crabmeat. A whole avocado stuffed with shrimp and lump crabmeat.

Tender Hand Cut filet grilled to perfection for you. Juicy Hand Cut and grilled to your specification. A Hand Cut Ribeye cooked to perfection for you.
