Established in 1943, and purchased in 2016 by Dr. Jeremy Welsh, Shaker Heights Animal Hospital has provided quality veterinary care to the greater Cleveland area for decades. We are proud to be an independently and locally owned and operated hospital. As time changes the face of a city, it also changes the philosophies and perspectives of individuals.

She started as an intern while in school and is now a RVT. Her responsibilities at the clinic have a wide range but her favorite place is assisting in surgery with Dr. Welsh or working on dental prophylaxis. She always comes into work with a positive attitude and a smile. I love working at SHAH because I get to use what I learned in school to help care for and educate our clients on the best practices for their pets.

Unfortunately our patients are unable to communicate with us the reason they are in pain or do not feel well. That's why it is important to have available the diagnostic tools needed to make a diagnosis so we can get your pet on the road to recovery. To aid in diagnosing your pet, Shaker Heights Animal Hospital offers Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Rhinoscopy, Laryngoscopy, Bronchoscopy and an In-House Laboratory.
