Dr. Wade graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. With over two decades of experience, she rejoined Big Creek in 2021 after a brief sabbatical. She specializes in equine and small animal medicine and enjoys riding and showing her Hanoverian gelding.
Dr. Aaron Horch
Veterinarian
A 1987 Ohio State graduate, Dr. Horch has practiced at Big Creek since 2002. He focuses on small animal care and has three dogs and three cats. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family and has two adult children in Columbus and Chardon.
Dr. Marissa LoParo
Veterinarian
Dr. LoParo graduated from the University of Florida in 2021. She specializes in preventative care and feline medicine, using fear-free techniques. She enjoys hiking, fishing, and Cleveland sports, bringing a passion for cooking and family traditions to her practice.
Dr. Emily Mosser
Veterinarian
A lifelong Geauga County resident, Dr. Mosser graduated from The University of Findlay and Ross University. She completed her clinical year at Lincoln Memorial University. She loves outdoor activities with her German Shepherd and is excited to join the Big Creek team.

Dr. Scherry graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2024. She has experience with cattle, poultry, and exotics, including wildlife. A northeast Ohio native, she enjoys reading, cartoons, and puzzle games in her downtime.

We've been taking all our dogs to big creek for many years they are excellent and understanding. The vets are all excellent and the staff is wonderful and caring .I will continue to take my buddies to big creek

I have taken my dog here for years. Over the last year the service has become horrible. For the last 6 months we have been back and forth 4+ times for a situation. Been given antibiotics and even had a procedure, all to no avail. They've got plenty of my money, and, I've got a dog that is miserable. It is a Thursday at 11:43AM (that I am writing this), I called them at 8:01AM to talk to a Vet, and, I am still waiting for a call back from one of there Vets. My wife is on the way to the Vet ER. Shame shame shame on Big Creek. They've grown so much, but, bigger is not better. Seems they've gotten

Rude to me in an emergency situation. Receptionist was cold and seemed to not have any concern for my dog whatsoever. Offered me no help or suggestions. wouldnt squeeze my dog in For emergency and my dog was already at emergency vet, and couldnt find anything wrong even though shes very sick so I wanted her regular vet to see her right away. (this is my dogs usual vet office). They told me to call back and see if I can get in tomorrow. How does that help me?! How does that help an emergency with the dog?! They didnt even ask her symptoms. Bottom line, I found a new vet a few minutes
