When asked what kind of photography Melissa does, she describes herself as being an "Emotive" Photographer. Melissa has the unique ability to capture the in-between moments. Her specialized training includes the unique ability to calm infants to capture them in their most precious moments. All sessions are different prices, truly depending on how many people, location, what type of session and for how long you are wanting a photographer for.
Newborn sessions take about 2 hours, depending on the baby. Some go faster, some take a little longer. I do allow times for baby to have a break, to be fed, changed or even just some time with the parents. Yes! Maternity sessions are near and dear to me. I offer a large client closet of maternity gowns that you are welcome to use for your session as well.

Melissa has been photographing newborns for over 10 years. Photographing hundreds of newborns, you are guaranteed to receive photos you will treasure for years to come. Melissa will invite you into her beautiful home studio, where she has everything needed for your newborn session. Including, props, outfits, wraps, headbands and so much more.
Maternity

To make your maternity session even more special, Melissa offers a large selection of gowns that you are welcome to use for your session at no additional charge. Maternity Sessions take place between 30-35 weeks. Together we will work on a location that you would like, clothing options, gown choices, and who you may want to be included as part of your maternity session.
Family

Though most of Melissa's family sessions are posed poses, She also likes to put in a few fun photos as well. Melissa believes having a fun family session is important and not something that is stressful. Remember that photos are not always about the location, the color you are wearing or even if you are looking at the camera.
