Michael Sandham has been studying Shaolin-Do Kung Fu and Tai Chi since 2001. He currently holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kung Fu (Rank of Associate Master) and a 4th Degree Black Sash in Tai Chi (Rank of Sifu). To understand Shaolin-Do you need to meet our current Grandmaster, Sin Kwang The (pronounced Tay).The son of Chinese parents, Sin The was born in Bandung, Indonesia. He began his martial arts training under a sand burn master at the age of 6. When he was 7 years old he began studying under one of Grandmaster Ie's top students.
Adult Kung Fu

The Adult Kung Fu curriculum is derived from the last Shaolin Temple in Fukien Province of China. It is the perfect combination of form and application, strength and flexibility, linear and circular movement, as well as power and grace. Shaolin-Do Kung Fu is based on the fighting styles of different animals throughout history.
Kids Kung Fu

We take things slow with the kids and pace our teaching to their particular speed of development. We will not push the kids too fast and make them feel uncomfortable, or let them get bored with what they are learning. Because of this, belt testing may take a little longer for the kid students, but that's okay!
Tai Chi
Report
Relax from head to toe, breath deep and focus your mind on movement and energy flow. This class calms the mind, but also builds inner strength, balance, and graceful body control through simple awareness. Tai Chi is based on the ancient teachings of Bodhi Dharma, who brought Buddhism from India to China thousands of years ago.
