The Cooperative Nursery School of Ridgewood offers a unique and positive educational experience for preschool children ages one and a half to six years. Participating in our co-op preschool is a unique and wonderful experience. Your child will receive a remarkable education with exceptional teachers and you will get the privilege of being in the preschool classroom with your child once a month. The Ridgewood Co-Op is a warm and loving school that parents help organize.

Our programs offer children a warm and encouraging preschool environment. Class activities provide children with a wealth of resources and enriching activities. Daily sessions include individual, small group, and whole class experiences. Teachers plan several exciting interdisciplinary units throughout the year.

The Co-Op is fortunate to have a highly trained, talented, and dedicated teaching staff whose enthusiastic and supportive approach helps preschool children develop self-esteem and respect for others. The Director and many of the teachers also have a special relationship with the preschool, as their own children attended the Co-Op.
