I live in Ft Lauderdale & there aren't many places to buy potter's tools , clay, or glazes. I found Gumbo Limbo online & drove down on a Saturday. Maite was super friendly & had a great selection of tools I needed (wanted). They had a beautiful collection of handmade pottery for sale too. I'd definitely recommend a visit We'll be back!

I have been taking classes with Maite for over a year and she is an incredible potter and teacher. She is patient and accommodating, and I have seen my skills consistently improve under her watchful eye. Her studio is clean and the high quality equipment is well maintained. I highly suggest choosing Maite to be your pottery instructor, from beginners to more experienced potters. I have also purchased several pieces of pottery made by Maite that she has available in her shop/studio. I have given her mugs and bowls as gifts and they are big hits every time!
