Exams like the SAT, PSAT, and GRE are vocabulary intensive, and today's students are often better versed in proper nouns, such as the names of popular websites and musicians, than the common nouns they need for English language proficiency (skill, ability, competence). Learning vocabulary can be a fun and creative activity, if you invent clever ways to help you remember the words along the way.
