This is a cute hidden gem in the heart of the west village. Brazilian cuisine isnt something i have on the regular (meat-heavy trips to fogo de chao come to mind), but when executed well, makes for an interesting meal. Our server was super friendly and quite helpful in explaining certain dishes, even planning our meal out for us to ensure we had a good time and didnt overdo it. The highlights here would be the pao de quiejo, feijoada (bean and pork stew), and picanha steak. Drinks are pretty strong too and they made a mean caipirinha. Wow. It has been a while since I've had such a stellar dining experience in NYC post-pandemic. My husband and I sought out Berimbau to try authentic Brazilian cuisine and to practice speaking a little Portuguese. From start to finish, we enjoyed everything from the conversation to the incredible food. The smells coming from the open kitchen were incredible. The photos cannot possibly do the food and drink justice, which were packed with flavor, original, and delicious. The service was fantastic and the staff were so fun to talk to. I never got to even got to make a reservation. I tried two days in a row to make a group reservation. Each time it said to check all fields. I tried my regular debit card, my credit card and my company card. I finally called the restaurant and the person on the phone said there was no way to help me. She said "try again later" I'm just going to have to miss out on this one. Customer service was terrible and I didn't even make it here yet.

5 stars The food is delicious, the drink was really good, brigadeiros melt in the mouth. Excellent customer service and the atmosphere is fantastic. I loved and enjoyed every second of ny experience. Highly recommend this place. Thank you to the waiter Kaique.
