Windward Watersports is awesome!! If you want to kayak on Oahu give them a call and/or check out their website. Our family of 5 had the perfect day kayaking out to the Mokes. We made reservation the day prior via the easy to use website. When we arrived in the morning the folks at Windward had our kayaks and gear ready. They took time to fit us with life jackets, explain the seats, oars and kayak gear, and then loaded them on our car (rental minivan) and showed us how to load them when we were done. Then they check the wind and wave chart with us and gave us some excellent tips for navigating to

My daughter got sick and I couldnt make it and I tried to explain it him but he was not willing to listen just because he was having financial issues, he was not taking my daughters illness into consideration. I didnt get a chance to cancel because I booked it late at night and try calling him late night and before opening the shop. He just blamed on me that I was rude when it was the other way around. I hope something like this happen to you and then maybe you will understand.

The staff at Windward Watersports went above and beyond to make our experience at Kailua beach easy and extremely enjoyable. My family of 8 rented out 4 double kayaks which included seats and life vests for everyone as well as straps for the top of our van for easy transport. They even strapped everything for us while we were briefed on where the best place to park and launch the kayaks are. Even though we returned the kayaks late, the staff remained extremely helpful and even rinsed the sand off of our car with a hose. If you're ever in the area I would strongly recommend renting from this amazing

Called 3 other kayak rental the day before and they were all booked up for next day kayak rentals. I had read another review that Windward Water sports only place that he rents from so I figure I give it a try , not sure if it was our luck but Windward still had a two person kayak .. so I booked it over the phone and was told it be ready to pick up by 9 am when they open . Come the day of to pick up, everything went smoothly, we had to sign a waiver and didn't take more than 10 mins to load the kayak onto our Honda Civic rental car. Quick and efficient customer service.

This review is specifically for Miles. He really saved the day for us when we thought there was no chance in us finding a kayak rental. He was super friendly, helpful and informative. If I ever need to rent another kayak and i'm in the area I know where i'll stop first.
